Composed with a similar mix of electronic and traditional orchestral elements, Nemesis features far more subdued synthesized instrumentation than heard in Star Trek: Insurrection, with bracing percussive elements taking center stage.Playing a much more ethereal role in this score, the synthesized elements are comparable to Vangelis Blade Runner, though more integrated with the live orchestra.New material, of course, representing Shinzon and the Remans is heard, based on a five-note motif that carries throughout the film, culminating in a beautiful concert performance during the end credits suite.
Star Trek Nemesis Ost Torrent Full Bombast DuringThe score acts as an almost neutral party, playing to full bombast during exciting action sequences, but remaining relatively detached during such delicate moments as the Riker Troi wedding and Data s wake.Bookending Shinzons theme and Datas final fight is a traditional rendition of Goldsmiths end credit theme, performed with slightly less vigor than earlier versions, possibly a reminder of the melancholy nature of this Generations final journey and Goldsmiths own final contribution to the Star Trek legacy. Then the Enterprise is invited to Romulus to negotiate a peace treaty with the Romulans by their new leader, Praetor Shinzon. However, Shinzon is revealed to be a clone of Picard who was raised on Remus, a slave planet to the Romulans. Later on, Picard discovers that this peace treaty was nothing more than a set-up on account of the fact that Shinzon needs Picard in order to survive. But little do the Enterprise crew know that Shinzon also plans to do away with the Federation by unleashing a weapon that could destroy a whole planet. Shinzon is a complex, human character, and Tom Hardy brings him to life better than most Star Trek villains. Star Trek Nemesis Ost Torrent Series And AppliesAnother reason for any success this film achieves is that it borrows elements and themes from the original Star Trek film series and applies them well. The action scenes are well conceived and not excessive, compared to the fight sequence in the recent, second Star Wars movie, which suffered from overkill. Several scenes, in particular, were very powerful and when the movie ended, I continued to sit for several minutes, speechless. Tom Hardy is crazy fun, theres some Star Trek philosophizing going on, the action is fast-paced. ![]() Well they shouldve been, because Star Trek:Nemesis is the best Star Trek film since Star Trek II:The Wrath of Khan - and it may be better than that one. This film has got everything, A strong plot, good character development, brilliant acting, edge of your seat action sequences, great special effects, and a wonderful musical score.I was blown away by how good Star Trek:Nemesis was. This is the film that George Lucus wishes that Star Wars Episodes I II couldve been.
